Back in 2009, Blue Peter ran a competition inviting viewers to design a brand new TARDIS console.
A small group including Steven Moffat (Doctor Who’s Lead Writer and Executive Producer) narrowed down the thousands of entries to three and Matt Smith (the Doctor) chose the ultimate winner, selecting a quirky, imaginative design by Susannah from Lancashire who had entered in the 11 and 12 year old category. And now the wait is almost over to see how the Doctor Who team interpreted her drawing and brought it blazing onto our screens!
